Taser Used To Arrest Josue Aguilar: BPD

The Bolingbrook man wiped blood upon his victim's body, court records indicate.

BOLINGBROOK, IL - A week after being taken into custody by the Bolingbrook Police Department, 35-year-old Josue Aguilar remains locked away from society in downtown Joliet. Aguilar is being held at the Will County Adult Detention Facility. His bail was set at $30,000, but he has been unable to come up with $3,000 cash, 10 percent, to post bond to go free.

On Sunday night, June 17, shortly before 11:30 p.m., Bolingbrook police were sent to the 200 block of Bunker Hill because Josue Aguilar was "intoxicated and out of control," reports state. When the squad cars arrived, Aguilar was already gone. "Officers also determined Josue made physical contact with a (person) in the home, grabbing their face and head prior to leaving."

About an hour later, police learned that their prime suspect came back home "and was in the back yard trying to gain entry into the home," reports state.

The criminal complaint at the Will County Courthouse states that Aguilar "wiped blood on the body" of a woman at his residence during a domestic disturbance and that he "knowingly advanced with closed fists" toward a member of the Bolingbrook Police force.
