Teen Harassed Pelican Harbor Staffer, Police Say

Ray was taken to the Will County Jail last Friday.

BOLINGBROOK, IL - An 18-year-old Bolingbrook teenager is no longer in custody after posting bail in recent days. Jail logs indicate that Tahje Ray, who lives in the 400 block of Sword Way, came up with 10 percent of his $25,000 bail four days ago, on July 14. Ray has been charged in Will County with the felony offense of obscene harassment/threatening to kill a witness.

The Bolingbrook Police force took Ray into custody last Friday, July 13.

According to Bolingbrook's Police reports, Ray "was arrested for making threatening social media messages to his former manager at Pelican Harbor Aquatic Center, 200 South Lindsey Lane."

Will County court records indicate that Ray was informed that he must have no contact whatsoever with the Pelican Harbor Aquatic Center in Bolingbrook and the aquatic center representative he is accused of threatening to harm.

Additionally, a judge has ordered that Ray "shall not possess a cell phone, computer or any weapons" while he is out on bond awaiting his trial.
