Townhome Struck By Bullet In Bolingbrook: Police

Officers were called to Fernwood Drive at 9:21 a.m. Friday for the report of shots fired, police said.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A townhome on Fernwood Drive was struck with a bullet Friday morning in Bolingbrook, Bolingbrook police said. Officers were called to Fernwood Drive at 9:21 a.m. Friday for the report of gunshots, police said.

Officers found a van in the area with a shattered rear window, and also found that a townhome was struck by a bullet, according to police. Shell casings were also found, police said.

There were no reports of injuries, according to police.

The incident is currently under investigation, police said.
