Trump's Bolingbrook Fundraiser Still On for Wednesday

BOLINGBROOK, IL — After postponing his planned fundraiser twice already, it appears the show will go on when Trump visits the Bolingbrook Golf Club Wednesday.

Tickets for the luncheon will range from $1,000 to $250,000, according to a report from the Chicago Tribune. Lest anyone think the higher price doesn’t come with any advantages, those who pony up the dough will get “prime seating” and a pre-lunch VIP roundtable, according to the report.

Also planned for Wednesday is an anti-Trump protest. Suburban Families Against Hate will gather from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Bolingbrook Golf Club.

SFAH has also created a petition to keep Trump out of Bolingbrook and currently has more than 1,3500 supporters. The petition states that “Trump does not represent the interests nor the values of families in the suburban community of Bolingbrook. It is an insult to invite a billionaire to raise funds in a middle-class, hard working, vibrant, and diverse community.”
