Marvin White, of Bolingbrook, picked up five passengers -- all of whom were “very intoxicated” and leaving a party -- in his BMW SUV early Saturday morning in the 3800 block of Central Road in Rolling Meadows, according to the newspaper.
At one point, the passengers said they wanted to get out of the car and police said one of the passengers, Alan Slawson, argued with White, according to the Daily Herald.

Slawson got out and threw a rock at White’s vehicle, damaging the moon roof, and that’s when White pulled out his handgun, pointed at Slawson and fired, the newspaper reports. Slawson and two other passengers ran away and White chased after them and fired again.
No one was injured.
Bail has been set at $75,000 for White who is charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm. He is next expected in court on June 29.
Slawson has also been charged following the incident with knowingly damaging property. His bail has been set at $50,000.
