UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook Hospital Names New CFO

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Tristan Shaw, previously assistant vice president and regional controller of AdventHealth’s Great Lakes Region, has been named vice president and chief financial officer of UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook, according to a news release from the hospital.

Shaw assumed his new position on Aug. 13 and will report to Herb Buchanan, chief executive officer of the Bolingbrook hospital.

In Shaw’s previous position, he was closely involved with the unwinding of AMITA Health, a joint operating company formed by AdventHealth and Ascension, and with the establishment of a new regional finance team for the Great Lakes Region, the hospital said.

Before joining the Great Lakes region in 2022, Shaw served in several leadership roles during 11 years with AdventHealth’s Central Florida Division, including executive director of finance for Population Health and Post-Acute Care, divisional finance lead for the COVID Surge Mitigation Task Force, and post- acute care director of finance, according to a release.
