BOLINGBROOK, IL — At the Board of Education meeting on Monday, Superintendent Rachel Kinder presented the proposed 2023-24 school year calendar to the board.

- First student attendance day, Aug. 17, 2023
- Thanksgiving break, Nov. 22-24, 2023
- Early release day for winter break, Dec. 22, 2023
- Students return from winter break, Jan. 9, 2024
- Spring break, March 25-29, 2024
- Last day of school, May 24, 2024
There would also be early release days on: Sept. 13, 2023; Sept. 27, 2023; Oct. 11, 2023; Oct. 25, 2023; Nov. 15, 2023; Nov. 29, 2023; Dec. 13, 2023; Jan. 17, 2024; Jan. 31, 2024; Feb. 14, 2024; Feb. 28, 2024; March 13, 2024; March 22, 2024; April 10, 2024; April 24, 2024; and May 8, 2024.
