Valley View Recognizes Jane Addams Cross-Country State Qualifiers
This was the seventh year in a row making it to the cross-country state championship, and the 11th time in the past 18 years, coaches said.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Valley View Board of Education recognized its IESA state cross-country qualifiers from Jane Addams Middle School at its Monday board meeting.
This was the seventh year in a row making it to the cross-country state championship, and the 11th time in the past 18 years, coaches said.
The girls team had one runner, Adrianna Johnson, qualify for state; and the boys team qualified eight runners: Jewan Garner, Yorachukwu Ifeajekwu, Owen Jones, Brayan Segundo, Trayvon Smith, Isaac Stowers, Yonathan Tsegay and Alexander Zuniga.

The state cross-country meet was held Oct. 16, and the Jane Addams boys team came in 18th place. Mahomet-Seymour Junior High won the Class 3A boys state championship, according to the IESA website. Glenwood Middle School took first place for the girls Class 3A state championship.
