The new logo will be presented to the Board of Education at its July 18 meeting.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Valley View School Community Unit School District 365U has a new logo and District-identifying graphics, which are part of an updated Strategic Plan that will be presented to the Board of Education at its July 18 meeting, the district said in a release.
“VVSD is proud of who we are, what we’ve accomplished together, and of our commitment as a community to being lifelong learners,” said VVSD Superintendent of Schools Rachel Kinder. “The next chapter of our evolution is an updated Strategic Plan, which includes an update of our District logo.”
The dynamic shape of VVSD’s new logo represents growth, movement and change and is a symbol
of VVSD’s investment as a community to its past, present and future learners, the district said in a release. The updated logo represents a proud acknowledgement of the District’s history, and a clear articulation of its future.

The four shapes that form the “V's” represent the pillars; the foundational components that are strengthened to support student success, the district said. The subtle heart shape of the logo represents the heart of the caring and supportive VVSD family and community.
The emphasis on “365” represents the origin of the District’s unique identifying number, which was chosen at a time when VVSD had a year-round school calendar, the district said. “365” also represents VVSD’s continued commitment to "Every Learner, Every Day."
