Valley View School District 365U Changes Grading Scale
Previously, students receiving 90 to 92 percent would receive a B. Now 90-100 will constitute an A.

Valley View School District 365U has changed its grading scale so that a 90 to 100 percent on a test, assignment or class project will constitute an "A."
Before the recent change, a 90 to 92 percent was a "B." An 80 to 82 percent was a "C."
School officials said that the change would "level the playing field" for students, according to the Chicago Tribune, since Valley View's grading scale is now comparable to other school districts.
