Valley View's Open Enrollment For Kindergarten Set For March

The Valley View School District will start to welcome students in the Class of 2031 when kindergarten open enrollment gets underway in March. It will take place between March 7 and 17, school officials announced this week. According to Valley View, students who turn 5 on or before Sept. 1 are eligible to enroll. Parents are encouraged to visit the school district's website for more details about the enrollment process.

Additionally, Valley View offers an Early Childhood Center Community Preschool for children ages 3, 4 and 5 (who are born after Sept. 1, 2018). "This program is open to all Valley View 365U residents and outside residents. These classrooms are located at the Valley View Early Childhood Center, 753 Dalhart Ave. in Romeoville. Classes are 2 1/2 hours each day, Monday through Thursday. Tuition is $245 per month."

Registration begins in February. However, there will be open houses on the following dates at VVEEC: 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Jan. 16, 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Feb. 13 and at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 28.
