Victoria's Secret Ripped Off By Lingerie Thieves: Blotter

BOLINGBROOK, IL - The following criminal activity was investigated between Sept. 13-19 at the Bolingbrook Police Department. And there was a lot.

SEPT. 13

A set of wedding rings were taken from a residence on the 200 block of Porter Ln. between 3 and 5:30 p.m. Loss valued at $4,000.

Officers responded to Meijer, 225 N. Weber Rd., for the report of a retail theft. Two people concealed electronic items and exited the store without rendering payment at 9:52 a.m. Loss valued at $180.

Anthony DiPietro, 43, 800 block of Jane Addams Road, was charged with improper passing, too fast for conditions, no insurance, and two counts of DUI, following a traffic stop at Lily Cache Ln. & Weber Rd. at 3 a.m.

A vehicle parked on the driveway on the 300 block of Hanover Drive was rummaged sometime overnight.

Cortez Watson, 36, of Fernwood Drive, was charged with two counts of traffic signal violations, illegal transportation of alcohol and DUI, following a traffic stop at Brook Ct. & Bolingbrook Dr. at 11:56 p.m.

Frank Delahoya, 25, Cicero, was charged with two counts of DUI, driving on a suspended license and obstructing identification, following a traffic stop at Boughton Rd. & Pinecrest Rd. at 3:43 a.m.

SEPT. 15

Officers responded to Victoria's Secret, 641. E. Boughton Rd., for the report of a retail theft. Several people placed merchandise in shopping bags and exited the store at 2:15 p.m. without rendering payment. Loss valued at $1,050.

An IPhone 5S and cash were taken from a vehicle parked in the lot on the 300 block of N. Schmidt Rd. at 4 p.m. Loss valued at $300.

Avery Pruitt, 18, 500 block of Cottonwood Cir., was charged with battery, following a call to the 300 block of W. Briarcliff Rd. for a fight at 2:04 pm.

Jorge Amezquita-Granados, 30, Woodridge, was charged with improper lane usage, DUI and endangering the life of a child, following a traffic stop at Boughton Rd. & Woodward Dr. at 12:24 a.m.

SEPT. 16

Officers responded to Meijer, 755 E. Boughton Road, for the report of a retail theft. Someone removed 23 PS4 video games from a display case at 11:04 pm, placed in a shopping cart and exited the store without rendering payment. Loss valued at $879.

Several rental chairs were taken from the 1800 block of Leeds St. between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. Loss valued at $588.

Cash was taken from a wallet left unattended on the 600 block of E. Boughton Rd. between 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm. Loss valued at $300.

SEPT. 17

Bulmaro Esparza, 40, Summit, was charged with assault, resisting a peace officer and illegal transportation of alcohol, following a traffic stop on Lot S of Beaconridge Drive at 7:55 p.m.

Two tires were slashed to a vehicle parked on the 300 block of International Blvd. between 8 a.m and 8:30 a.m.

An unlocked vehicle parked on the 600 block of Lakewood Farms Dr. was rummaged through, several gifts cards and loose change were taken overnight.

Officers were called to the area of Kings Rd. & Rodeo Dr. for a burglary to a vehicle. A construction trailer was cut open and several shovels and tools were taken between Sept. 15-17. Loss valued at $1,600.

SEPT. 18

Tianna Godsey, 22, 7743 S. Stewart Ave., Chicago and Ariel Hollis, 25, 8241 S Escanaba Ave., Chicago, were charged with deceptive practice, following a call to Walmart, 200 S. Bolingbrook Dr. at 4:18 p.m.

SEPT. 19

Asim Jeelani, 33, last known address in Addison, was charged with aggravated battery, following a call to the 200 block of S. Bolingbrook Dr. at 7:45 p.m.

Copper wire was cut and removed from a secured area on the 2100 block of Reagan Blvd. between Sept. 11-19.

Gregory Allen, 53, 548 Leslie Ln., was charged with criminal trespass to property and unlawful use of weapon, following a call to the residence at 10:04 a.m.

SEPT. 20

Miguel Norato, 34, 1962 Southport Ct., Romeoville, Arnold Zavala, 28, 449 Quessey Ave., Lake Bluff and Arturo Beltran, 22, 460 Seminole Ln., were charged with criminal trespass to property, following a call to Lot O of Beaconridge Dr. for people fighting, yelling and throwing glass bottles at 12:02 a.m.

Cortez Watson, 36, 11 I Fernwood Dr., was charged with two counts of DUI, improper lane usage and expired registration, following a traffic stop on Lot C of Beaconridge Dr. at 2:52 a.m.
