Volunteers Sought For Hidden Lakes Trout Farm Cleanup in Bolingbrook

The Forest Preserve District will host the cleanup from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, July 23. Litter removal will take place around the ponds.

The Forest Preserve District of Will County is hosting a cleanup event from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at Hidden Lakes Trout Farm in Bolingbrook.

Litter removal will focus on the shoreline around the ponds. Buckets, bags, pickers and gloves will be provided. Wear clothing that can get muddy or wet, but the group will not be entering the water.

An RSVP is required for all individuals and groups.

Individuals who have not yet volunteered must first complete a waiver online. Those with a waiver on file should contact Emily Kenny, volunteer services supervisor, at 815-722-7364 or ekenny@fpdwc.org to reserve your spot.

Work will take place on uneven natural surface terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this workday should mention their request when registering, or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the volunteer session.
