VVSD Free Summer Meals Program Begins
Those 18 and under can receive meals free of charge, no registration required.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — As part of Valley View School District’s efforts to serve the community and to ensure kids have access to healthy meals during the summer months, VVSD Nutrition Services began its summer meals program on Friday, according to a release from the district.
Those 18 and under can receive meals free of charge, no registration required, at different Valley View schools.
Due to changes in the program made at the federal level, the district said it is no longer able to offer Grab n’ Go meals or pick-up of meals by parents.
