Wanted: Career Week Volunteers For Valley View School

Volunteers are needed to give 10- to 15-minute presentations the week of April 17 to 21.

ROMEOVILLE, IL -- R.C. Hill students will get a glimpse into their future when the Romeoville elementary school observes Career Week April 17 to 21.

The week will feature visits from parents and community members who will detail their careers including a typical work day, working conditions, education, job security and pros and cons.

Throughout the week teachers will conduct classroom discussions about career choices, encouraging students to begin taking a look at what they want to be when they grow up. Morning announcements will focus on careers as well.
