Accused Robber Slapped Woman, Wouldn't Let Her Call Cops: Police

Marquis Nathan, 22, of 254 Thornhurst, was arrested by Bolingbrook police at 9:43 a.m. March 24 in the 500 block of Mallview Lane on charges of domestic battery and interfering with emergency communications after allegedly slapped a woman in the face and prevented her from calling the cops, police said. Nathan was also wanted on a warrant for robbery on a 2014 charge, according to jail records.

Arturo A. Beltran, 20, of 351 Gehrig, was arrested March 27 by Bolingbrook police on a charge of crminal damage to government property.

Deon O'Neal McLaughlin, 47, of 713 S. Shannon in Romeoville, was arrested March 28 by Bolingbrook police on charges of possession of a controlled substance, criminal trespassing to a vehicle and resisting/obstructing an officer.
