Watch Bolingbrook's State of the Village

If you missed Mayor Roger Claar's Jan. 12 State of the Village address, you can catch it online.

The mayor and village staff took a look back at the highlights of 2016 while looking ahead to the rest of 2017.

“In 2017, Bolingbrook is considered to be one of the premier places to do business," Claar said. He noted highlights such as a lowered crime rate, initiatives such as a new village website and mobile app, and diversity in local schools and among elected officials.

Claar also outlined milestones since he took on the role of mayor in 1986, including a total of more than 36,000 new jobs and 11,000 new homes built in Bolingbrook.
