WildFest Planned In February At Bolingbrook HS

WildFest will feature a chance to pet and take photos with several exotic animals.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Valley View Educational Enrichment Foundation will host WildFest on Feb. 6 at Bolingbrook High School. The event, which features a variety of exotic animals, will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

According to the district, attendees will be able to see a wolf, alligator, python, bats, lynx, skunks, owls, falcons and more at the event. Specific demonstrations include: Big Run Wolf Ranch, Jim Nesci's Cold-Blooded Creatures, Incredible Bats, and K-9 Guardian Dogs.

The event will also have concessions, vendors, and opportunities to pet and take photos with the animals.

Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids, and is free for kids up to 3 years old. Proceeds will benefit the grant programs in VVSD schools supported by the VVEEF and animal rescue programs, the district said.
