Woman Uses Belt To Abuse Her Child: Police
The woman from Bolingbrook was arrested on Oct. 25.

BOLINGBROOK, IL - A 33-year-old woman who lives in Bolingbrook was taken into custody by officers at the Bolingbrook Police Department early Thursday morning on child abuse charges. Police say Aerial McCall's child was hospitalized after McCall used a belt to strike her child multiple times.
Police reports indicate that at 2:40 a.m. Oct. 25, police were called to an area hospital for a report of a possible child abuse.
"Upon arrival officers determined a child received non-life threatening injuries after being struck several times with a belt. The juvenile was allegedly struck by Aerial McCall, 33 years of age, from the 500 block of Pontiac Lane. McCall was punishing the child for causing damage to the home," reports state.

The Department of Children and Family Services was contacted and a safety plan was implemented for the juvenile, police said.
Will County jail logs listed McCall as being charged with child endangerment and three counts of domestic violence. After spending two days in the county jail, the Bolingbrook woman came up with 10 percent of her $10,000 bail over the weekend.
