Yard Waste Collection Ends In Bolingbrook

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Landscape waste collection will end next week for Bolingbrook residents.

The Village said the scheduled end date of Dec. 15 falls in the middle of the week, but Flood Brothers will pick up landscape waste through the end of the week.

Flood Brothers accepts yard waste in biodegradable Kraft bags, and also accepts bundles of brush and limbs, as long as it doesn't weigh more than 50 pounds per bundle and the branches are not more than 4 feet long, 2 feet in diameter and are tied with twine, according to the Village website.

The refuse service will also provide a special free collection for live Christmas trees during the month of January, according to the Village website.
