Ralph Locke at rest

July 2, 2026, American Legion Central Park Post member Ralph Locke was put to rest at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Ralph was a dedicated member of the post; he will be deeply missed. His wife, Elaine was presented the American Flag. Saluting are, L-R, Will Lloyd, Don Miles, Frank Bernal and Stan Oleferchik; John Ayala took the picture. The post meets every second Friday of the month, except July and August, 1 p.m. at Southwest Moose Lodge #44, 7536 S. Harlem Ave. All men and women veterans are invited to the September 11th meeting and join up; free pizza, open bar, pool table and slots. Enter at rear, bring a DD-214. Bring a fellow veteran.
