3 Accused Of Carjacking Pregnant Woman, Husband At Gunpoint
The offenders were taken into custody after being involved in a hit-and-run with a stolen vehicle, police said.

CHICAGO, IL — Three felons have been charged after a pregnant woman and her husband were carjacked in Bucktown Friday, police said. The carjacking happened in the 1700 block of North Wolcott Avenue around 9:30 a.m., according to police.
Dwayne Liberty, 21, Tyran Carter, 26, and Terronde Gordon, 25, were arrested a few hours later after crashing a stolen car, police said.
A pregnant woman was backing her car out of a garage and her husband was taking out the garbage, when the men forced the couple to lie on the ground, according to police. The men then stole the woman's purse and phone before taking off in their Range Rover, police said.

Police said the offenders were also involved in another carjacking the same day.
The three men were arrested around 12:46 p.m. in the 400 block of West 97th street, after they were seen fleeing a hit-and-run crash that involved one of the stolen vehicles, according to police.

Gordon and Liberty were both charged with vehicular hijacking with a firearm and two counts each of armed robbery with a firearm, police said. Carter has been charged with three counts of vehicular hijacking with a firearm and three counts of armed robbery with a firearm.
The men were denied bail during a Sunday court hearing, and are scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
