7 Business Robberies in 6 Days On West Side
A string of business robberies has hit the Little Village, Pilsen and Heart of Chicago neighborhoods, police said.

CHICAGO — Police sent an alert to businesses on the West Side after a string of robberies occurred in October in the 10th and 12th police districts. In each of the robberies, a suspect went into the business, brandished a knife and demanded property, according to police.
The businesses were robbed in the Little Village, Pilsen and Heart of Chicago neighborhoods, police said.

• in the 3900 block of West 26th Street, on Thursday, Oct. 18, at 12:30 p.m.
• in the 2400 block of South Central Park Ave, on Friday, Oct. 19, at 3:15 p.m.
• in the 2100 block of West Cermak Road on Sunday, Oct. 21, at 5:49 p.m.
• in the 1700 block of South Ashland Avenue on Monday, Oct. 22, at 6:45 p.m.
• in the 3400 block of West 26th Street on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 3:45 p.m.
• in the 3200 block of West 26th Street on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m.
• in the 2800 block of West Cermak Road on Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 6:55 p.m.
