Armed Robbers Target Food Delivery Drivers, Residents: Police
Chicago police say four robberies have been reported in Wicker Park and Bucktown between Jan. 11 and Jan. 18.

The Chicago Police Department is warning residents and food delivery drivers of a rash of armed robberies in the Wicker Park and Bucktown area.
The robberies have been carried out from anywhere between one male black and three male white Hispanics wearing black hooded sweatshirts and skull caps between the ages of 16-25 years old. The suspects range in height from 5-feet-7-inches to 6 feet tall, police said.
The delivery drivers have been robbed as they are walking to or leaving their delivery destinations. In both instances, the drivers were robbed between 9 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.

In addition, police believe one or more of the same group have committed two street robberies.
The robberies occurred between Jan. 11 and Jan. 18, including:

- 3500 block of W. Mclean at 3:33 p.m. Jan. 11 (street)
- 3500 block of W. Dickens at 9:35 p.m. Jan. 14 (street)
- 2000 block of North Drake at 9:15 p.m. Jan. 17 (delivery driver)
- 3500 block West Shakespeare at 9 p.m. Jan. 18 (delivery driver)
