A new cafe in Roscoe Village, under new management, is being renovated to open as a pizzeria and cafe by mid-September.
Pi-Hi Cafe, owned by Fares Zanayed, used to be the location for a pizzeria and will continue to serve brick-oven pizzas. In addition, the menu will include panini sandwiches, a juice bar and other healthy eats, according to Zanayed.
Zanayed hopes to open the eatery in a month, after city inspections have been completed.
