Busy Beavers - Opening Reception

I Am Logan Square is excited to partner up with Busy Beaver Button Company to present Busy Beavers, a group show featuring work from the artists employed at the local button factory.

Please join us on Thursday January 30th from 6-9pm for the show opening and to meet those involved.

The show will include creative endeavors from Abbey Hambright, Fred Henzel, Brett Manning, Marieke Mcclendon, and Carrie Vinarsky. Busy Beaver Button Co’s 2013 button-o-matic art series will be featured, along with the company’s finger puppet band, The MUBs.

Additionally, Busy Beaver Button Co will be hosting multiple events at the I Am Logan Square gallery while the show is up. Events will include a family craft day, Busy Beaver Band Night, and a release party for Busy Beaver owner Christen Carter and production manager Joel Carter’s zine “A Very Brief History of Buttons”. Details will be posted as they become available via the I Am Logan Square website and Facebook page.

Opening reception: Thursday January 30th, 6-9pm at I Am Logan Square, 2644 1/2 N Milwaukee Ave.

The show runs through March 13th!
