Call for Artists for Installation in Wicker Park Bucktown Area
The public art installation will be placed at the highly visible intersection of Milwaukee Avenue and Wood Street.

BUCKTOWN-WICKER PARK, IL — The Wicker Park Bucktown area is well known for being an artistic community. Now, the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce and the Special Service Area #33 is asking for proposals for a public art installation that will be placed at the highly visible intersection of Milwaukee Avenue and Wood Street the summer of 2017.
The art installation will create a visual identity that helps brand the neighborhood, encourage creative energy, and capture the attention of both residents and visitors.
The installation must be made of the highest quality so it can survive harsh weather conditions. It also must be original and appropriate for an urban setting.
