Car Stolen in Bucktown Had Expensive Artwork Inside

CHICAGO, IL - Police in the city's 14th District are looking for a stolen car that contained a valuable piece of artwork.

Someone stole a car from a garage in the area of Damen and Wabansia in Bucktown sometime between July 31 and August 2. The car, a blue 2005 Chrysler Town and Country minivan with a license plate of 83749EN, contained a sculpture of a coiled rope that ends in a snake's head, according to a police report.

The piece of artwork is considered valuable, although police did not include a specific value of the missing item.
