Chicago McDonald's holds McTeacher's Night to support their local School

On Thursday, February 25th, Sabin Dual Language Magnet School held a very successful McTeacher’s Night fundraiser at the McDonald’s in Chicago on North Western Ave in Bucktown. The Sabin McTeacher’s Night was a fun way to bring the Sabin teachers together and have the opportunity to meet the parents of students and members of the community while raising funds for the school. And what a great community the Sabin Dual Language Magnet School is, as the restaurant was full of families supporting the school as well as waiting to see their teachers, Sabin staff, Ronald McDonald and the amazing Sabin Lady Hawks.

Teachers had so much fun at this community event where they were able to interact with families and students. The McTeacher jobs included, greeting guests, cleaning the lobby, working the front counter, serving drinks, clearing tables, selling pies and serving ice cream.

Sabin McTeachers had it all covered, and the families enjoyed a spectacular evening. The special performance by the Sabin lady Hawks was enjoyed by everyone.The school plans to use the money raised to go into the fund to support the school. Lots of students, teachers, families and friends came out in their support. All the kids came to see their teachers work at the McDonald’s on N. Western. Special thank-you goes to Kyri Sierra, who is part of the intermediate team at Sabin and who organized the entire event.
