‘Creeper Ghost’ Caught on Video Burglarizing Bucktown Home

Ghostly image of home burglar has neighborhood residents on alert.

CHICAGO, IL - Surveillance video on a Bucktown man’s home security system shows what is being called a “creeper ghost” believed to be responsible for several home burglaries in the North Side neighborhood.

The video the man shared first with NBC shows a man at the top of the staircase routinely looking down at the man and his girlfriend who were sleeping on the couch early Monday morning. The man was seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt, and never came down the staircase.

“At 3:41 you see him creep in, and at 3:45 you see him creep out,” the victim told NBC. He later found some belongings misplaced upstairs and a purse stolen.
