Feds Search for Wicker Park Bank Robber on a 'Spree'
Chicago Police and authorities from the Federal Bureau of Investigations are on the prowl for a man who they say struck two Wicker Park banks this week—one on Tuesday and the other, Thursday.

Authorities are searching for a repeat bank robbery offender who hit two Wicker Park banks on Thursday alone.
"A bank in Wicker Park was robbed by a man who the FBI said is on a 'spree,' hitting a fourth bank Thursday," according to the Chicago Tribune.
The suspect robbed the North Community Bank at 1555 N. Damen Ave. around 12:30 p.m., the story says, citing the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Feds believe the same culprit struck a Citibank at 1455 N. Milwaukee Ave. Tuesday. He is suspected in two earlier Loo-area robberies, police say. One incident was reported May 31 at a Chase Bank at 300 S. Riverside Plaza; the other, a Charter One Bank at 71 S. Wacker Dr. on May 29.
The FBI describes the suspect as a bald white man who is around 35 years old and stands at about 6 feet tall.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the FBI at 312-421-6700.
