Green Arch Food Mart Robbed In Noble Square

CHICAGO — A man who claimed to be armed with a gun robbed the Green Arch Food Mart on Milwaukee Avenue on Saturday afternoon, police said. The suspect implied he had a gun and demanded cash from the the store's cashier around 3:20 p.m., according to police.

The man then fled north on Milwaukee Avenue, police said.

The suspect is described as a black man around 30 to 35 years old, standing 5 feet 10 or 5 feet 11 inches tall, police said. He had facial hair and was wearing a dark jacket, a red shirt, a red hat and dark blue jeans.
