HeartFest 2014 Offers Free Screenings

Chicago, Ill. – February 3, 2014
– Presence Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center (PSMEMC) is sponsoring HeartFest
2014 from 9 to 11 a.m. on February 22 at the Nazareth Family Center Gymnasium,
first floor, 1127 N. Oakley Ave., Chicago.

Heart disease can often be
prevented if detected early. To help generate awareness of heart disease and
risk factors, PSMEMC staff is providing free screenings for body mass index,
blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol. Educational materials on caring
for your heart will be available. Community residents can get some exercise by
joining in Zumba sessions offered at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m.

Healthy snack refreshments will
be available. Participants can spin the wheel of health for great prizes. Registration
is not required.
