Holy Trinity Falls to Rams 67-52

Will face Public League foe Robeson on ALUMNI NIGHT Friday IN THE JUNGLE! GIRLS TO HOST Notre Dame tonight (Jan. 21) on SENIOR NIGHT!

Last Tuesday (Jan. 19) the visiting Tigers (now 12-5 overall) lost a non-conference game at De Paul Prep by a final score of 67-52. High hopes for victory prevailed thru the first quarter in that contest, as HT trailed their Catholic League opponent by only one point at 18-17.

But the host Rams (11-9 overall) were not to be denied, as they took control of the game in the second stanza, using a 23-8 spurt to move out to a commanding 41-25 lead by halftime.

HT did rebound in the last 16 minutes of play, actually outscoring the Rams 27-26 but the damage was done.
