The Tigers traveled to Niles, Northridge Prep Feb. 19 to face the Knights in the last tune-up for next weeks IHSA 2A regionals and defeated the hosts by a final score of 45-40.
Once again the seniors led the way for Holy Trinity (18-9). Justin Robinson had 15 points, 6 rebounds and Marlin Caston added 11. Christian Camarillo posted six points and 11 assists on the night while teammate Adrian Santiago added 11.
The Tigers opened with an 11 to 3 first quarter and moved to 22 to 11 by halftime.

Northridge closed to the final 5 point margin after trailing 34-24 after three quarter. But the Tigers would not fold down the stretch and held on for the victory.
“This certainly was the way we wanted to finish the regular season,” commented HT’s head coach Ray Kang. ”Dropping the last three games and coming here for the finale, we wanted to gain some momentum for our home regional next week.” he added.

The Tigers host (see the schedule below) a six-team regional that looks very competitive.
