CHICAGO, IL - Getting to work is no fun. And if that commute involves finding your car in the morning and dealing with rush hour traffic on the North Side of Chicago, it is even more frustrating.
The chart below shows the average commute time for North Side workers and how it compares to Chicago as a whole, the Chicago-metro area, Illinois and the United States.
As you'll see "20-29 minutes" is the most common. Of course that could include a variety of scenarios like sitting in traffic for 15 of those minutes just to get to a nearby workplace in your neighborhood, hopping on the expressway to your suburban office or boarding the train downtown.
