HT Boys Varsity Christmas tourney results from 12.26.17

Both Lake View, a 61-43 winner over Golder and the host Tigers of HT, 60-36 victors over Ogden, remained unbeaten at 3-0 a top the HT Boys Varsity Christmas tourney after three days of action.

Lake View used their speed and defense to upend Golder with Rocky Viette scoring 14 and Kevin Delaney added 12 to the team win. Golder's Angel Mendez had 11 for Golder.

Holy Trinity (now 5-7 overall) oustcored previously unbeaten Ogden in every quarter in route to their victory. Kiwanee Scott had 18 points while teammate Dorian Little added 13.

The Tigers led 30 to 16 at the half and cruised from there.

Guerin Prep won their first game of the tourney, dispatching Noble Street by a final count of 69 to 40. Guerin's Szczygiel had a game-high 24 points while teammates Craword and Foley added 12 and 10 respectively. Noble Street's Shayguan Willingham poured in 17.

Day four's schedule: Golder vs. Noble Street @ 4:30pm; Lake View vs. Ogden @ 6pm and Holy Trinity hosting Guerin Prep @ 7:30pm.
