HT Boys Varsity Christmas tourney results from 12.27.17
Boys final day of action on the 28th; HT gbk tops Guerin Prep 23-19 with a late trey, moves to 2-0 in the Gators Christmas tourney
HT won their fifth in a row and the 4th straight in their own Christmas tourney with a 10-point win over Guerin Prep. Leading the Tigers were Christopher Wilson with 16 points; Dorian Little with 12 and 10 each to Kiwanee Scott and Tony Wilson. Guerin Prep featured Crawford with 15 and Yilmasz with 8. The Gators dropped to 1-3 in this Holiday tourney.
FINAL GAMES are played on the 28th: Thursday's schedule includes Ogden vs. Noble Street @ 4:30 p.m.; Golder vs. Guerin Prep @ 6 p.m. and Holy Trinity vs. Lake View @ 7:30 p.m. A Tiger victory will clinch the tourney crown for the home squad.
RESULTS from 12/27/17 saw: Noble Street winning on forfeit to Golder and Ogden topping Lake View by a final of 50 to 41. Both of these teams are 3-1 and still in the hunt as well for tourney honors. Ogden featured Davon Davis with 13 points and Mike Nelson with 12 while Lake View Kevin Delaney pour in a game-high 18 points in the setback.

HT Gbk moved to 2-0 with their second consecutive win at the Guerin Prep Christmas tourney as the Lady Tigers defeated the hosts by a final of 23 to 19.

CeCe Gardner hit a 3 pointer to put us up by 2 and Star Brooks hit two foul shots with 3.7 seconds to seal the victory. Fatima Olaitan was the leading scorer with 10 points.
With the win, the Lady Tigers improved to 9 and 6 on the season and 3-2 in Chicago Prep league action.
