HT Fall Sports Roundup from Sept. 30
Tiger Soccer wins at Lisle; GVB Jv capture their own mine-tourney at home.
HT Boys Soccer Edges Lisle 4-3 on the road:
The Tigers came back from a 3-2 halftime deficit to edge out Lisle 4-3 on Saturday September 30.
"It was a nice comeback win for us spurred on by some of our younger players," commented head coach Ray Kang afterwards.
Featured in the win were: Norberto Lopez who had two goals on the day. Teammates Hafeez Soberu and Alex Martinez also scored. Assists went to Juan Campos, Edgar Godinez, Andres Saucedo and Nolberto Lopez.
HT's overall record now stands at 6 wins, 8 losses and two ties as the team prepares for a Monday, Oct. 2nd rematch versus Cristo Rey at Harrison Park in the Chicago Prep conference tourney semifinals.

HT GVB Jv B wins 2 matches in their three-team mini-tourney IN THE JUNGLE!
The younger Lady Tigers hosted Uno Garcia and Cruz in a 3-team mini tourney on Saturday September 30 and came away with 2 wins to finish atop the field for the day.
Results saw HT defeat Uno Garcia by scores of 15-25, 25-17, 15-13 in their first match and then HT won in three by scores of 25-14, 21-25, 15-5 versus Cruz
LADY TIGER HIGHLIGHTS: Featured on the day for HT were Matilda Asante (5 kills, 14 service points and nine aces); Daniella Dominguez (17 service points, 10 aces and 5 set assists); Kailyn Adames (11 service points, 5 aces and one kill); Meriam Sung (13 service points, 8 aces and a kill) and Yadira Santoya (1 kill).
HT JV SERVING: vs. Uno Garcia: 54 attempts with 44 made for an 81% average and 16 aces. Versus Crua: 61 attempts with 49 made and an 80% average with 29 aces.
