HT Gbk: HT 51, Northtown Charter 17

HT moved to 3-2 over and 1-0 in Chicago Prep league play with a 51-17 victory at home over the visiting Pumas of Northtown Charter. The Lady Tigers were led by Rachel Asante (10 points and Kristina Vargas and Alyssa Hernandez who each had 8 points on the night. Vargas added 6 steals and 2 assists to the mix while Hernandez was the leading rebounder with 10.

NOTES: The game was played in front of a large and enthusiastic crowd that included young fans from nearby St. Stans Kostka school's girls basketball squad.

In the Jv contest, the young Pumas outlasted their rivals by a 3-point margin.

Northtown Jv 21, HT Jv 18.
