HT gbk: Prov/St. Mel 41, HT 36

PSM came back from early deficits to beat the host Tigers by a final of 41 to 36. Leading the Knights were Taquiea Brown with 14 points, T. Donald who added 12 and Kendall Allen who hit 9. HT featured Sakayah Garity with eight and Cece Gardner and Kristina Vargas who both had six. PSM is now 9-0 and 6-0 in the Chicago Prep. HT dropped to 7-5 overall and 3-3 in league play.

Foul trouble affected HT's play starting early in the second quarter, which allowed the visiting Knights to regroup and move closer by halftime at 27-22.

Prov/St. Mel continued to pressure the Tigers thru the third quarter and regained their first lead at 30-29 with 2:19 left in this stanza.

The visitors then made 5 of 8 charity throws in the fourth quarter to sneak out the victory.
