HT Girls Volleyball:
Holy Trinity def. Guerin Prep in River Grove by scores of 25-20, 18-25, 25-22 to improve to 7-2 on the season.

The Lady Tigers featured Sakayah Garity (10 kills, one block, 5 service points, four digs); Silvia Lepe

(11 service points, three aces); Cierra Gardner (8 kills, three blocks); Kurteshia Singleton (8 kills, one block);

Cristina Guzman (9 service points, 22 set assists); Sui Lin (7 service points), Fatima Oliatan (5 kills) & Vivian Quezada (9 digs).

A great varsity team effort! Serving stats: HT: 67 atts; 59 made for an 88% avg. with 7 aces.
Guerin: 63 atts; 56 made for an 89% avg. and 5 ace serves.

HT Boys Soccer: In a Chicago Prep Conference game played @ North Grand field, the Tigers tied league rival

Northtown Charter 2-2 to move to 2-4-1 overall and 2-2-1 in league play. HT was led by Alejandro Munoz (1 goal)

and Andrew Casteneda (1 goal) and goalkeeper Sunjay Camarillo (6 saves). Unfortunately for the Tigers, Munoz

was injured late in the contest and may be lost to the team for the season.

NEXT UP: make-up date with Cristo Rey and a non-conference match-up with Uno Soccer Charter on Sept. 23rd.
