Bsoc loses in 1st round of CPC conference playoffs

HT Lady Tigers Fall to Neighbor Rival Noble Street Charter
Visiting Noble Street Charter (13-3 overall) defeated the host Lady Tigers of HT by scores of 25-16, 27-25 Monday evening in the JUNGLE!
Noble featured Daniela Hernandez (5 kills); Alejandra Chavez (five set assists) & Liana Lorenzi (10 service points, five aces and 4 digs).
HT, which has dropped 2 of their last three matches and has an overall record of 12-4, was led by Sakaya

Garity (4 kills); Cierra Gardner (two kills, one block); Cristina Guzman (seven set assists, 7 service points);
Sui Lin (seven service points, 3 ace serves) & Fernanda Anaya (three digs).

TEAM SERVING: HT: 41 atts; 36 made for an 88% avg. with 9 ace serves. NOBLE STREET: 52 atts; 48 made for a 92% ave. with 16 ace serves. Jv: HT def. Noble by scores of 23-25, 25-20, 27-25. HT featured Rachel Asante (4 kills) and Evelyn Padilla (24 service points with 16 ace serves). NEXT UP: IN THE JUNGLE: a Thursday, Oct. 6th visit from GCAC Blue opponent Queen of Peace high. HT Bsoc drops CPC playoff game to St. Benedict by a final score of 3-0. HT bsoc is currently 3-10-1 overall and prepares next for the IHSA state tourney playing Noble Street Charter in a 4pm regional opener to be played Wednesday, Oct. 12 @ the Francis Parker field.
