Mellanie Barnes set a personal best of 20:22 for the 3 mile course and finished 11th in the Girls Varsity race. First year competitor Damien Aguirre competing in the open race completed the 3 mile race in 24:51. the next contest for both athletes will be September 23 at the Whitney Young Invitational in Washington Park.
