HT Gvb continues Their Winning Ways and Moves to 5-0:
Derails Visiting Roycemore in 2 games.
HT moved to 5-0 with a 25-12, 25-13 win over Evanston Roycemore Friday September 8.
HT was led by Cece Gardner (5 kills and one block and five service points); Fatima Olaitan (4 kills); and Karol Gonzalez (14 set assists and seven service points). Teammates Star Brooks added four service points while Sui Len had two digs, six service points and 3 ace serves.
And to round out things for the Lady Tigers, Vivana Quezada added six service points and Sakayah Garity 3 kills on the day.
HT SERVING: 49 serve attemps with 41 serves made for an 84% average and 16 team service aces.
NEXT UP for the Lady Tigers: 3 road dates next week. Tuesday Sept. 12 @ Ellison Charter -- Jv/V -- 5pm/6pm; Thursday Sept. 14 @ Cristo Rey -- Jv/V -- 5pm/6pm and at the Westmont Varsity tourney Saturday, Sept. 16. The Ellison and Cristo Rey matches are Chicago Prep league contests.

Girls/Boys Cross Country: The squad travels to Horner Park on Saturday Sept. 9th for the annual DePaul Prep Invite and follows with a suburban date Saturday Sept. 16th at Libertyville HS.
