The Tigers returned home after a weekend tourney to face Chicago Prep Conference rival Cristo Rey on SENIOR NIGHT. The host Tigers defeated their foe by scores of 25-16 and 25-21 to move to 9-7 overall on the season and 6-3 in league play.
Featured for HT were: Alex Munoz (11 kills, seven service points and four aces); Jonathan Vega (9 service points, 3 aces and 21 set assists); Abay Million (6 kills and Demetrius Reeves (3 kills, 3 service points). HT SERVING: 49 attempts with 41 made for an 84% avg with 10 ace serves.
And the SOPH'S won and exciting 3-game match in front of the home crowd defeating Cristo Rey by scores of 25-22, 22-25, 25-17. The young Tigers were led by Randy McCoy (4 kills and 4 blocks with six service points); Ron Scott (seven service points); Kevin Perez (8 service points, four aces and 15 set assists) and Edgar Godniez (7 kills).
