HT Spring 2019 sports wrap for Monday April 1st

Holy Trinity (2-1 overall and now 1-0 in Chicago Prep league play) defeated conference rival Cristo Rey by scores of 25-22, 21-25, 25-20. Leading the Tigers were Jelani Jackson (12 kills, 3 blocks, 5 digs); Jalen Gomez (7 kills); Jonathan Vega (19 set assists); Kevin Perez (12 service points, two aces, 10 digs); Haziel Sanchez (six service points); Thomas Cheng (eight service points, six digs) and Christian Torres (four service points, one kill and seven digs. TEAM SERVING: HT with 71 service attempts and 62 serves made for an 88% average and 10 aces serves. Cristo Rey: 67 service attempts and 59 serves made also for an 88% average and 9 aces.

Sophomore score: Cristo Rey def. HT 25-23, 25-18.
