The Lady Tigers improved their record to 8 and 1 with a 9 to 0 win over St. Ben's Wednesday (4/12).
Emily Gallegos, Atzihri Guido and Jennifer Rios each scored 2 goals, with single goals by Sakayah
Garity, Cency Vega and Vanessa Cardenas. Assists were by Gallegos (two), Guido, Sui Len, Chelsea
Bautista, Cardenas, and Garity (two). Garity and Destiny Lopez combined for the shut out in goal.

Lady Tigers take on Our Lady of Tepeuac today 04.13.17 at 4;30 at Douglas Park multi-purpose soccer field.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL: from action of 4/12/17 IN THE JUNGLE:
HT (3-2 overall and 1-2 in the Chicago Prep) dropped a three-game match to the visiting Bengals by scores of 18-25, 26-24, 22-25.

HT featured Alex Munoz (13 kills and six service points); Demetrius Reeves (8 kills and 2 blocks).
Teammate Jonathan Vega had 22 set assists. HT SERVING saw 67 attempts with 60 made for a 90% average with 10 aces serves made.

St. Benedict featured Gary Dodovich who compiled 24 kills and one block for the Bengals.

BASEBALL: results from 04/12: HT 2, Hope Academy 1:

HT 6-4 overall. Christian Trejo the winning pitcher in relief. Luis Ruiz produced the game-winning winning hit. The win was the 45th consecutive Chicago Prep Conference win.

HT 15, Steinmetz 7: from 04.11.17:

HT 5-4 overall. Christian Trejo had three hits and 4 RBI's for the Tigers. Jose Alvarado was the winning pitcher.
