HT Spring Sports Scoreboard update from 05.16.17

Holy Trinity Boys Volleyball: HT defeated Disney II by scores of 25-17, 25-14 to improve to 12-9 on the season. The Tigers were led by Million Abay (5 kills); Christian Flores (5 kills); Jonathan Vega (16 set assists); Edgar Godinez (8 service points, two aces and 5 digs) and Kenneth Munoz (four service points, an ace serve and two kills).

Tomorrow the team faces St. Benedict in the third place match of Chicago Prep Conference playoffs. This match and the title tilt -- that features Northtown and Rochelle-Zell -- will be played at Cristo Rey high school.

5:30 pm -- Holy Trinity vs. St. Benedict (3rd place).

6:45 pm -- All-Conference awards.

7:00 pm -- Northtown vs. Rochelle-Zell (title match).

Girls State Sectional Soccer update: HT playing DePaul College Prep in the Elmhurst, Immaculate Conception sectional. At the half (now at 6:20 pm), the score is DePaul 2, HT 1.
