HT Topples Rochelle-Zell 66-40

Playing their second straight Chicago Prep conference game in as many nights, the Holy Trinity Tigers defeated league foe Rochelle-Zell in Deerfield Thursday night Jan. 28. by a final score of 66-40.

The Tigers (14-6 overall; 4-2 in conference) were led by seniors Justin Robinson (20 points); Marlin Caston and Michael Rodriguez who EACH score 14 and Christian Camarillo (11 points. 10 assists.

Holy Trinity 17 - 24 - 10 15 = 66

Rochelle-Zell 13 - 13 - 10 -13 = 49

Next up for the Tigers will be visits to Francis Parker February 3rd -- Soph/Varsity -- 4:30pm/6pm (non-conference) and Friday, Feb. 5th at CPC rival CICS Ellison (5:30pm).

The Tigers look forward to both contests. At Ellison, HT hopes to pispatch the Lions who tripped them in their first meeting of the season on December 12, by a 37 to 34 margin.

In the first Ellison game, Holy Trinity had bolted to a 15-4 lead early but it was a dog-fight the rest of the way til Ellison took control of the contest late.

But with their 2 CPC wins this week, the Tigers look to change the outcome to their favor when these two squad meet next week.
